Evangelization & Worship
Altar Servers
As an altar server, you will assist the priest or deacon with the preparation of the altar, present the Roman Missal for opening and closing prayers, and receive the gifts presented by the congregation, all with reverence and respect.
Art & Environment
Creating an environment that draws the people to the heart of worship is a big part of what makes up this ministry.
Coffee & Donuts Ministry
Once a month we slow down our “hurry home” routine and gather for some fellowship with coffee and doughnuts.
Eucharistic Adoration
The Eucharist is exposed for public prayer and worship every Wednesday from 7:30AM until 8:00PM for adoration.
Eucharist to the Homebound
These ministers that bring our Lord in the Eucharist to the homebound to unite these parishioners to the congregation at Mass, reassuring them that they are a vital and important part of our faith community.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
The Eucharist is the source and the summit of our faith. What better way to serve the Church, the people of God, and our Lord than to present his body and blood to the people?
Hospitality Ministers (Ushers)
Our Ministers of Hospitality are there to welcome, assist and assure that everyone’s time of worship with us is inviting.
Lectors
One of the parts of the Mass is the Liturgy of the Word. Being a lector means to bring the Word of God to the people with clarity, sincerity and an eagerness to proclaim God’s message.
Margaret’s Men
This monthly gathering for men’s fellowship is based on a model of prayer, catechesis, and fun! Margaret’s Men explores ways to be faithful while discovering a unique masculine spirituality.
Music Ministry
Our music ministry leads the congregation through hymns of praise, responsorial psalms, and music that we may raise our voices to the Lord as one.
Now Go Forth (Welcoming Ministry)
Now Go Forth, our Welcoming Committee, aims to make new parishioners know that our church home is also theirs by initiating relationships that will last for years to come.
Respect Life Ministry
The Respect Life effort at St. Margaret’s engages in local and diocesan wide activities that promote respect for life in all forms and against all human injustices.
Sacristans
Ministry members set up and clean up the sanctuary for each Mass. Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins and the Eucharist is his body and precious blood.
St. Joseph Altar Committee
Our St. Joseph Altar honors St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus, commemorating his intercession for the relief that God provided during the famine in Sicily.
Young Adult Ministry (YAM)
St. Margaret’s Young Adult Ministry seeks to integrate faith with fun to provide spiritual enrichment for a much overlooked demographic in the Catholic Church.
Yummy for Your Tummy
Chefs in the parish share their favorite dishes and for everyone to enjoy the foods of the variety of cultures that make up our church.
