Hurricane Ida – Clean Up Continues
While every building had some damage (most severe in St. Thomas, Chapel, St. Margaret Church, and the Hall of Saints), Fr. Jamin met with our insurer yesterday to begin the process of recovery on the parish property. This will likely be a rather expensive venture since our deductible per building is 2% of the stated value of each building.
The St. Margaret grounds are a mess since we lost 50-60% of the trees on the property. However, our friends at Maginnis Construction our of St. Francisville (the folks who renovated our beloved Church) have been working furiously to return the grounds to some normalcy! Thanks to Stuart Maginnis, Mark Singleton and the team for all your hard work! It’s looking much better already!
