“Eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare” (Isaiah, 55:2b).

South Louisiana is no stranger to natural disasters and the long recovery that takes place in their aftermath.  Thomas’ Table provides support to the parish and civic community so that we can be proactive rather than reactive before calamity strikes.  Monthly fundraising meals provide the funds necessary to purchase supplies and equipment helpful in mobilizing our community immediately after a storm; these meals also support other parochial ministries who need a hot meal to feed the masses.  When disaster does hit locally or nearby, ministers mobilize to provide St. Margaret’s Helping Hands! Not ironically, St. Thomas – our secondary patron – is the patron saint of chefs!  Interested in cooking up a storm?  Or are you willing to help us mobilize when we need to respond?  This, indeed, is your ministry!
