“When did we see you ill or in prison and visit you? Amen, amen I say to you, whenever you did for one of these least brothers of mine you did it for me” (Matthew 25: 39-40).
Are you ready to accept our Lord’s challenge to visit the imprisoned? St. Margaret’s Prison Ministry provides the opportunity and numerous options on how you can serve. You can be a volunteer who assists at liturgies inside the prison or support us administratively or spiritually. This ministry will open your eyes and give you a new perspective of those who are incarcerated; they’re not much different than you and me! You will be surprised at how rewarding and how relevant you can be to society’s forgotten. Are you ready to take the challenge?
