Construction for the renovation of St. Margaret is now in full swing.

This week, contractors removed the three trees to be removed for the project (two in front of the rectory, one in front of the church — weep openly now!), addressed some spooky electrical issues tying the various buildings on the property together, and began preparations for the demolition of the old sacristy. This week, a perimeter fence will be constructed around the Church, rectory, and rectory-side parking lot. After this Sunday’s liturgies, access to the campus will be restricted to the side of the property from the Church north toward Catholic Hall Road. Please make special note of the following:

~Beginning Monday, 08 November, entry to the St. Margaret Cemetery will be from West Bates Road ONLY! You will not be able to access the cemetery from the north side of the property.

~Beginning 10 November, all Sunday traffic must park near the Hall of Saints and the Livingston Parish Tourist Center while paving begins near the rectory.

Once this phase of paving is complete, parishioners will be able to use the new concrete parking.

Stay tuned to Facebook and oral updates at Mass, and let’s be patient during this time of great transition!
