A “Monumental” Week
St. Margaret hosted her annual Vacation Bible School July 18-22, 2022. Our program had 85 participants with 15 adult helpers and over 25 youth helpers!
The week was filled with tons of fun aimed at helping the participants dive deeper into the faith. This included dynamic bible stories, games, and lots of dancing! At the end of the week, the VBS participants all crammed into the Parish Hall to show off the dances and chants they learned during the week. We ended our time together with pastalaya courtesy of Tommy DeLaune. We were also treated to snowballs from The Sno Shack in Ponchatoula.
Vacation Bible School would not have been possible without our two Vacation Bible School Coordinators, Ashley Casteel and Heidi Comish! We also want to thank St. Margaret parishioners for donating every single item we asked for on our wish list. We are so thankful for your generosity!
Mark your calendar for next year’s Vacation Bible School which is scheduled July 10-14, 2023. The theme is “Stellar: Shine Jesus’ Light!”
